Payments to HMRC

HMRC have announced that from 9 August 2011 the old Bank of England accounts will close therefore you will need to check carefully to ensure that you are paying your taxes using the right account numbers and ensure that the payslips you hold are still valid.
Any payments made using incorrect account numbers or payslips are likely to be returned and you may be charged interest and/or penalties if the liability is then late.
